When you join the waitlist or finish the free funnel. Stored in Resend in the letmecookit-waitlist segment. Used to email you the analysis and, later, launch news.

Your idea text

The four answers you give on /start — what you'd sell, who it's for, why you, and the price. Sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the analysis. Not used to train Anthropic models (Anthropic does not train on API traffic).

IP address (briefly)

Used for rate limits on /start/analysis so the AI bill doesn't get nuked. Held in memory for the rate-limit window only, never logged.

Pseudonymized analytics

Page views and funnel events through Umami, self-hosted at umami.fberrez.co. Umami is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors.

We use a handful of well-known providers ("subprocessors"). They each see the slice of data they need to do their job, and nothing more.

Resend

Stores your email and sends transactional + waitlist emails.

Anthropic

Receives your idea text to generate the competitor analysis. API traffic is not used for training.

Umami (self-hosted)

Cookieless web analytics. No third-party scripts, no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel.

Cloudflare

DNS + CDN. Sees standard request metadata (IP, user agent) like any web host.

Railway

Hosts the app. Sees the same request metadata as Cloudflare.

Paddle

Will handle checkout when payments go live. Paddle is the Merchant of Record and the data controller for purchase data once it touches their checkout.

04 · COOKIES & TRACKING

We do not set marketing or analytics cookies. Umami uses a hashed, rotating-daily identifier kept entirely on our server — there is nothing in your browser to opt out of, and no cross-site tracking. The only cookies you may encounter are essential ones (e.g., session for the funnel form). No consent banner because there is nothing requiring consent.
